The Polo del ’900 is a cultural hub in Turin housed in a restored 18th century complex. Inaugurated in 2016 through the support of Compagnia di San Paolo, the City of Turin, and the Piedmont Region, the center serves as a space for memory and civic engagement. I was responsible for some of the interior decorations and the complete wayfinding system for the site.
The project features two primary installations designed to bridge history and design. The first is a ground floor panel integrated with digital screens that celebrates Piedmont’s industrial heritage through iconic 20th century design products. The second is located in the library and focuses on the evolution of cinema, literature, and entertainment. Both installations conclude with an interactive space where visitors can contribute their favorite design icons via post-it notes, turning the exhibition into a participatory experience.
